Clear terms for coaching, bookings, and practice.

SV English is a service delivered by Michael J Sullivan, an independent service provider in Ohio, United States. These terms apply when you use the SV English website, book a service, create an account, or pay for coaching.

If you book on behalf of an employer or another person, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that person or organization.

SV English provides online Business English communication coaching and guided practice for professional work situations. Coaching may cover interviews, presentations, customer calls, meetings, and professional writing.

SV English provides education and coaching. It does not provide a formal language certification, employment placement, legal advice, medical care, therapy, immigration advice, or a guaranteed business or career result.

Prices, session length, and payment method appear before you confirm a paid booking. Payment is due in advance to reserve a paid session. The Business English Work Session is currently 45 minutes and $29 USD. The founding Work Session is limited to one booking per person.

The optional Workplace Communication Sprint costs $109 USD and includes 4 additional 45-minute sessions used within 6 weeks. The Work Session payment does not count toward the sprint price. Neither offer renews automatically.

The Refunds and Cancellations Policy forms part of these terms.

You may bring drafts, recordings, and work context to coaching. Share only material you may lawfully share. Do not upload passwords, payment information, regulated personal data, or confidential material that your employer or client has not authorized you to disclose.

You retain ownership of your own material. You grant SV English permission to use it only to provide the coaching, practice, and support you requested.

Free lessons and practice tools are provided for your personal professional development. Do not copy, resell, scrape, disrupt, or use the platform to train another system without written permission.

Automated coaching may generate suggestions from the material you provide. Review those suggestions before using them in a consequential work decision or communication.

SV English aims to deliver booked sessions and keep the platform available, but internet services and third-party tools can fail. If a provider-side problem prevents a booked session, you may choose a reschedule or refund.

To the extent allowed by law, SV English is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Any direct liability related to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.

Ohio law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved by contacting us first, the parties will seek resolution in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Ohio.

We may update these terms when the service or applicable law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after a material update means you accept the updated terms.
